The National Mountain Museum “Duca degli Abruzzi” was founded in 1874 from an idea by some of the Italian Alpine Club’s first members, and is located on the Monte dei Cappuccini top. From there is possible to enjoy a beautiful landscape of the city. The permanent  exhibition is dedicated to the hills and mountains which surrounds Torino and is about different subjects like religion, communication, tourism and alpinism, the Alpine Club and winter sports, exploration and environment. You can’t miss it if you love the mountain or if you would like to watch them from a different point of view.
