Situated beneath the sweets and beautiful Canavese hills, the Agliè Castle was the favorite habitation of King Carlo Felice of Savoy an his wife Maria Cristina of Borbone-Naples, summer residence of the Savoy-Genoa Dukes and Queen Margareth’s childhood place.
It is not possible to resist the fascination of the XVII century Ballroom, decorated with trompe-l’oeil , and of the long galleries, hosting important artworks, of the Tuscolan Room, filled with ancient finds, and of the St. Maurice’s Chapel.
Inside the kitchen you can easily imagine the sound of the cook’s voices, while they were preparing the royal meals, and walking through the garden you will travel back in time with your imagination.
