The MAO, located inside the XVII century Palazzo Mazzonis, is composed by five sections: The Southern Asia ( II to V century b.C. sculptures coming from Gandhara, in the area between Afghanistan e north-west Pakistan, and from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia); the China (with a beautiful collection of vases, sculptures and weapons to document the millenary history of the Country); The Japan (the beautiful sculptures and objects tell the story of the refined Japanese culture); The Himalaya Region (the art of Tibet, Nepal, Sikkim, Buthan, Ladakah, where the Buddhism surrounds everything) and the Islam Countries (with a collections of bronze sculptures, ceramics, manuscripts from Middle-East, Turkey, Persia, Central Asia). An amasing way to meet and experiment different cultures and costumes.
