Villa della Regina, and its marvelous Italian Style Garden, was built starting in 1615 on the Turin’s hill, by will of Cardinal Maurizio of Savoy. Inspired to the Tivoli and Frascati roman’s “ville”, it shows all its beauty in the Juvarrian Hall, in the Chinese cabinets and with its panoramic position, dominating the historical center. A 1753’s city guide describes it this way: “in its littleness, it comprises all the ornaments and the delights that the art has ever invented”.
